AARTHI AGARWAL was one of the TOP actresses of Telugu Cinema up until recently. Succumbing to her personal problems, she lost her position as a leading actress and has been out of action for quite some time now. She is a GUJARATI girl who had been living in USA prior to her entry into the filmdom. The media has always been tormenting and often made a huge spectacle of her personal life. I personally feel, what ever happened in her personal life is and should be her PRIVATE ZONE. She will tell something to her fans if she is obligated to and if she wanted to. She should be given some breathing space so as to live her personal life.

When a celebrity does something wrong that should not have been done being role models to many of their fans, then the media could be right in exposing their wrong doings. But when it is just a matter of love, marriage and relationships, then it is something that could be kept as her own private affair. There is nothing wrong in covering the whole event of her marriage. But it is beyond crushing HUMAN VALUES when a reporter starts questioning her past life even before leaving the her marriage venue.

Well, AARTHI AGARWAL married UJWAL KUMAR at ARYA SAMAJ in Rani Gunj of Hyderabad in the presence of her immediate family. UJWAL KUMAR, a native of JHARKHAND, is said to be an employee of MORGAN STANLEY in USA. No one from the film fraternity were informed or invited to the wedding. But that is her very personal issue. So, it would not be appropriate for any media to make an issue out of nothing. Especially some overzealous TV channels have taken the MORALITY levels abysmally low that in general the morality and generally acceptable PRIVACY levels are coming down among the PUBLIC too. And that is a very sad thing to happen.

the rain this weekend threatened to keep me inside, but as soon as there was a clearing in the sky i was pulling on my rainboots and jumping into a taxi with my boys. i had been wanting to see chinatown in the belgrano neighborhood of the city, walking around the small area was almost like leaving argentina…

except everyone spoke spanish! it was really great to be able to break up our argentine cuisine a little and stock up on some new ingredients and find some little fun treats.

we would walk by a bakery window and see empanadas sitting next to all kinds of different noodles and asian delights.

we also found a feira with wonderful jewelry, mate gourds and the general saturday scenes of people enjoying a break from the cold weather. good times, good times.

First Nayanatara Shed Weight, Now It Is Her Clothes...

NAYANATARA is one of the sweetest looking heroines around. But since her break up with SIMBU, she seems to be on a path of constant change.

She started paying more attention to her career. And then she mercifully shed a lot of wait. Not satisfied by being JUST BEAUTIFUL, she tried to shed some clothes in THULASI. But the audiences obviously wanted more. So, very consciously, she gave her consent to do a 2-PIECE BIKINI shoot for her upcoming Tamil movie BILLA 2007. The movie is a remake of Hindi DON. Now it is beyond clear that she is focussed on looking SENSUOUS and BEAUTIFUL. Lets wait to see how she carries herself in a 2-PIECE BIKINI... The significance of this particular decision is the fact that, this is the first time a heroine is trying to wear a 2-PIECE BIKINI in recent years in South Indian Cinema. If she succeeds, more and more heroines will surely take this path to success.

DON Venturing Out On 20th December Along With Jagapathi Babu

DON is the next hope for NAGARJUNA to further his career. And so the Director LAWRENCE and the Producers from KEERTHI CREATIONS are leaving no stone unturned. Earlier a character was created for the NEW GOLDEN LEG of the Telugu film industry JAGAPATHI BABU. Almost every movie in recent times with Jagapathi Babu's involvement has been a success. A few examples are ANUKOKUNDA OKAROJU and LAKSHYAM. Jagapathi is donning the role of a POLICE OFFICER in DON. Wherein, Nagarjuna is playing a modern day ROBIN HOOD according to the industry sources.

Now, the movie is being slated for release on 20th December. If you remember correctly it is the day that MANMATHUDU released 5 years ago. So, I just hope that DON will be as entertaining if not better than MANMATHUDU.

Pawan Kalyan Has Sachin Tendulkar's Tennis Elbow!!!

PAWAN KALYAN has been creating a lot of sensations off-late for all the wrong reasons and other than CINEMA. But the latest revelation has been that the strapping band that he is sporting now-a-days on his right elbow is a TENNIS ELBOW!!! I think many of you would remember SACHIN TENDULKAR had a similar one and was in news for some time. So, how did PAWAN got this Tennis Elbow? Well, according to a popular website Telugulo.com, Pawan used to do farming activities in his free time at his farmhouse in Sankarpalli. According to them, while doing so... he must have used his right hand for plucking out the weeds to the extent that it gave him TENNIS ELBOW. And so following his doctor's advise, he is wearing a strapping. How ridiculous is that? I am not a medical expert, but heard that SACHIN got it because of his illustrious but punishing career. I wonder what must be the real reason behind this TENNIS ELBOW?

CHIRUTHA is celebrating 50 Days supposedly in 168 DIRECT CENTERS. Just look at the picture below and decide yourself the REAL STATUS of the movie and its supposed collections of Rs. 25.49 Crores in 50 days.

YES. Pictures do really speak a thousand words. If the above scenario is the condition of the 50 DAYS CELEBRATIONS IN MAIN THEATER SANDHYA 70mm in HYDERABAD, then imagine the plight of the other CLAIMED 168 DIRECT CENTERS. But always remember that this is not something exclusive to CHIRUTHA... Another FLOP ATHIDHI is currently facing the same situation. Even the HIT YAMADONGA is facing the same situation as soon as it crossed 50 days mark.

SO MY DEAR TELUGU AUDIENCE & FANS , when I say that Chirutha, Athidhi or Yamadonga are claiming fake records, I don't mean to hurt anyone's sentiment. It is just that I am making a sincere effort to make the audience realize that 50, 100, 150, 175 DAYS RECORDS ARE EXTINCT in Cinema worldwide. There are no such PHONY celebrations in Hollywood or even in Bollywood. If Hollywood is the world leader, Bollywood is India's leader both Box-Office & Content wise. There is nothing wrong to learn something from others. I hope we will have more REAL HITS.

BABA SEHGAL Is Singing For PAWAN KALYAN In JALASA

BABA SEHGAL is gonna sing a song in Telugu after a long long time. Last time he sang for Chiranjeevi in RIKSHAVODU. He sung a popular number Roop Tera Mastana..." in that movie. This time he is gonna croon for Chiru's brother PAWAN KALYAN in his upcoming movie JALASA.

BABA SEHGAL was very popular in early 90s when he made RAPPING in Hindi fashionable. But he made so by lifting piece by piece from popular English numbers like ICE ICE from Legendary Rock Band QUEEN. Anyway, now he is singing while DEVI SRI PRASAD is composing. Devi is very notorious for lifting other people's work. So I just wonder if LIFTER+LIFTER = MEGA LIFTER? But, hoping they will dish out something fresh out of the oven.

SINDHURA GADDE - Will She Or Won't She Make It To The Top?

SINDHURA GADDE is making her debut in TOLLYWOOD Filmdom through SANGAMAM directed by RASOOL ELLORE. That is quite a debut considering that Rasool is a top class Cinematographer, which might further enhance her appeal as a Beauty Queen. So, now everyone is wondering whether she will make it to the TOP or NOT. So, what do you think Guys/Gals... Will she or won't she? I am waiting for your valuable comments.

Meanwhile, to give you all an idea... Here is what I think... While Beauty Queens might become leading actresses, not all of them make it and just remain as ALSO-RANS. There are extraordinary exceptions such as AISHWARYA RAI and PRIYANKA CHOPRA. But Beauty Queens like LARA DUTTA, DIYA MIRZA and SUSHMITA SEN have remained just as ALSO-RANs. There are Beauty Queens like DIANA HAYDEN who are charming but not in a conventional way and clearly did not fit in the filmdom. And lastly, there are Beauty Queens like YUKTHA MUKHI who just FRIGHTENED us to death with her EYE-GLOBES. So, where does SINDHURA GADDE fit among them?

Beauty is a SUBJECTIVE matter and is very unique to everyone of us... So, I am not going to debate over that. But when it comes to the CINEMATOGRAPHY, the movie camera has its own mind... completely oblivious of the conventional STILL PHOTOGRAPHY. It is quite an easy task to hide the NOT-SO-GOOD looks of anyone of us through STILL PHOTOGRAPHY. I think you all know the reason why we approach a GOOD STILL PHOTOGRAPHER for taking our snaps meant for MATCH-MAKING.

Now, what do you think? Is she gonna make it? Well, I think PRODUCERS are simply wasting their valuable time and money. As for RASOOL ELLORE, he is just lucky to have another chance of directing a movie. I think you all know that his earlier 2 movies OKARIKOKARU and BHAGEERATHA were FLOPS. He is an excellent CINEMATOGRAPHER. But he has to prove himself with a great movie and not just a half-baked opportunistic movies like SANGAMAM. Why am I even saying this even before the movie's release? The reason is simple... He is clearly trying to make use of SINDHURAs BEAUTY QUEEN TAG and not making any sincere effort at film making. Lets wait and see if he proves himself...

As for SINDHURA GADDE, I PREDICT with my gut feeling that Sindhura won't make it into the FILM DOM. She won't frighten us like Yuktha Mukhi, but won't even be an ALSO-RAN like Lara Dutta or Diya Mirza. She will end up like Diana Hayden... Charming but not made for Tinsel town... I am really happy that a Telugu girl is being considered, but is she worth it? I don't think so. Telugu or Non-Telugu... one should be worthy enough to entertain us if they belong to the film industry. Only one thing can save her now and prove me wrong... she should be damn good an actress like NANDITA DAS or KONKANA SEN.
